Hello!

New member here too. I joined a few months ago, but I haven't been very active for that period.
For me, hearing well is important, as long as having good headphones in order to hear great sound.
I currently own a cheap Corsair Vengeance 2000 headset that just broke (and I'm kind of happy about it, byebye crapty headset) and another cheap Sony pair of headphones on-ear, that I use when I travel or just go outside with them (which is practically, well, never). I hope to replace those asap, because they're bad. There is constant backnoise on the Vengeance 2000 even at low volume (I listen to music/play games with Windows audio settings at 12%, without any amp).
I look forward to buy new open-back headphones. I'm hesitating between the Fidelio X1/X2 or the ATH-AD900X.

Thanks to all the authors of the magnificient reviews and all other threads we have here on this website.

Sayounara!

New here as well. Ive been cruising around this site for a few weeks now. A little info about myself I guess. I have always to listen to music. I was never into equipment until recently. I am into plenty of other hobbies/sports such as biking, movies, computer technology, but never audio. I bought a pair of Audio Technica MSR7 and I love them. Now ive gotten into Dacs/Amps and in all honesty I didnt even know what that stuff was until 3 weeks ago. Now I have the MSR7 and an Meridian Explorer 2 with IFI USB playing from my CP. Love it love it love it. So now im hooked. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and hopefully getting to help people on here the way that others have helped me. Cheers and see you around!

Hi All!
Obviously I'm new here but I've been lurking for about a month and finally decided to get involved.  My current inventory is a pair of Grado sr80e's, a pair of V-Moda Crossfade Lp's, and a pair of Ostry Kco6A iems.  I stumbled here when someone in a massdrop discussion mentioned this place as the go to for all things headphones and I haven't looked back. I'm very excited to get involved in what I hope will be a new hobby for me.

Hi, I'm from Australia
After getting into high end keyboards I have looked more and more into high quality sound gear and am looking forward to organizing my first set-up once my wallet permits it. I have been lurking for a few weeks and thought I would join since I will probably be here a while.

I love headphones, its one of those things I can't live without.

I'm an entry-level enthusiast. The headphones I'm using right now is Grado SR80i. The DAC I'm using right now is FiiO E10.

I listen to a lot of different music but my usual music is metal. I listen to metal, classical, aor, pop, electronic. I'm wide as it gets, without being fat!

I'm pleased to meet you all!

Hello fellow Head-Fi'ers! I'm the Customer Experience Lead at Kanto, a company that makes powered speakers and TV mounts. I've joined the forums so I can answer questions about our products and generally be a well rounded contributing member of society. I currently own Audio Technica M50x's and AKG K7XX's powered by a Mayflower CMOY portable amp. Previous headphones used include AKG K181 DJ, Sennheiser HD212 Pro (can you tell I am also a DJ?), and Altec Lansing iM716 IEM's. I'll be mostly lurking the forums but look forward to being a part of it!

Hi, everybody!

I'm new to Head-Fi and high-end audio equipment in general, but I'm excited to be getting into all of this. I've got limited experience with headphones, but I've owned a number of gaming-based 'headsets' in the past that just don't cut it for me anymore. I purchased a pair of Sennheiser HD 650's from a member in the For Sale forums last night, and now I'm looking for an amp and DAC to pair it with. I figured it's time to quit lurking and start being active around here, so I'm looking forward to learning from you all.
