  look like the wire connector just broken and stuck inside the cable socket there...

Yup you are right, I think the material are just not too great for the connector. Better don't make use of the connector to remove the iems.

I've been doing that for almost a year and have not had any problems. Of course I am not just yanking on them, I have to rotate the earpieces to get them in and out.

This might be old news. I read somewhere on here that a simple way to take out CIEMs is to lift them with a finger from underneath. Works great for me.

Me too.  Forefinger and thumb under the body, and twist forward!

I like the descriptions of the DHC cables...I hope they come out soon...figure they will cost a grip tho..

I prefer to keep my money and not spend it on overpriced copper wire with a connector, but that's just me.

Wow that sucks. I just got back to my Roxannes (which have not been used for 4 months) and the cable's failing... If i wiggle the plug area and the bass knob area the left and right channels start disappearing ><
