I asked about cable connectors availability and the jh3A as well.  if the connectors are around I would love to have customs made for me by ted allen .
 
 I hope I get them before Christmas . I am waiting more than 3 months for my tg334 um reschell . they are supposedly finally sending the cable to use without the dac amp f ort he pp6..

Upgrade path? That mean there is "3A" version of Roxanne?.. but i think they need to change the amp design as it don't really convince some of the ppl.

What I understand is that I will be able to use my existing 3A for the new Roxanne with a firmware upgrade.

The hiss issue (I assume you mean noise floor) was fixed eons ago.

I would rather buy the. Ew 3a and keep what I have. The pair I have is freq phase
And as such the amp is newer and dead silence. The pp6 is black as well. It is only if you turn the. Volume all the way up with nothing playing it has a hiss. At anything 1 o'clock and down it is silence.

Never tried that. Not that its much of an issue, but interesting.

I'm curious if the Roxanne + 3A will yield any improvement over just Roxanne?

Interesting Girl generation said it still there and it just recent. Anyway, was thinking to go balance setup with RWAK120->SR71b->Roxanne. Not sure if it can be done.

Just quickly tried it, pitch black. Something is wrong with her unit OR this:

I have noticed that the EMF protection on the 3A is lacking. I have reported that to JHA. If its near highly noise computer equipment or a cell phone, I pick up noise.

Anyway, I'm curious on what a 3A+Roxanne combo can bring to the table.

Hmm that strange. I asked 2 around and they had the hiss issue, I asked JH what they can do is to reduce the gain by 6db. But then Roxanne released so went to Roxanne, hah now .,. Should I wait for the 3A to pair with the Roxanne instead of go with SR71-B.

The TG!334 is especially hard to reshell properly, due to its peculiar sound tube. Did you break them? And if not, if that's just a question of fit, have you considered the possibility of getting custom silicone tips?

Here is what happened
My first item was a heir 4ai. Cute and good sounding.
That introduced me to rolling. Then I bought the tg335
Wow what an increase in sound depth clarity
Everything. But I noticed that depending on the tips
In changed the sound a lot And not knowing how they should sound
Bothered me. Also I ended up with a triple silicon to get a good seal
They are deep but still move when running and just walking fast.
So that got me to my first custom.

The tg were my fav and I would like them to be my daily travel
Item. So I emailed UM and they assured me
They have done them before and would do it

I will post results when I get them

As for the 3A it is a complex answer. When I bought
The set it was great. But when used alone it never sounded
As good. 2000 later in sacs and amps to get that sound
So if you do not have an amp and DAC it's cheap and I think very good
Another thing to consider is drinking that many ba s can't be easy
And most likely be a low imp. So some amps will not be good

Maybe you should read the JH3A thread before talking about it like fact.
