I had to save some money on the portable so I could afford a long home cable.

And with Darths I wanted some silver in the cable so I got 22 guage Cryo 20 guage silver.

The UE-10's wont need silver anyway!

This sounds like great news. But what are "decopeling caps"? Sorry I'm not a big electronics guy...

thanks, AMcT

Maybe Ray Samuels can make a combination unit that is a Hornet and A DAC all in one to work with the Red Wine Audio modification and ALO's Cable?

And that way we don't have to worry about what is in the I-Pod? I would like to hear comments on this. Looking forward to hearing the responses.

There is no such thing as "decopeling" caps it's just an
example of my lack of spelling and proof reading.

What it should say is "decoupling caps" and that is
a capacitor that is used to isolate one part of
a circuit from another and in this case the output
of the dac in the ipod and the input section of the
preamp section of the amplifying stage after it.

The sections need to be isolated so that variations
in one do not cause interactions that will effect
the performance of the other and the capacitors are
used to protect different parts of a circuit from
each other.

*edit technically I think they would be called dc blocking
capacitors but the function is still to isolate one
section from another.

Which new 5G iMod cable dock you suggest if someone want airy smooth, warm and relax fullboddied sound. BTW iam realy looking forward if you describe the sound signature of each 5G iMod cable on your website(could be more easier for buyers to decide).

Hey Zarim,

I lent Nick some mini's for his mini meet last week. These were, Gold X Silver silk mini, Super Cotton mini and the Jumbo Cryo X Silver mini. Or all the same cables that I will offer in an Imod cable. Those guys should have some impressions soon. I also think Nick was sending these to yet another Head-Fier for a meet. I could tell you to buy a Gold x Silver dock cable but its best to hear it from the users. Early reports from some of the folks were that the Gold X Silver was the bomb. I am sure there will be a ton of users reports and to be honest, sadly I have not had much time to A/B them. I can say that the new Video iMod is awesome though, it will not disappoint. Todd R. you’re a mad man, hope you enjoy the iMod IC’s brother! PS I just put some new pics up on the page.

Ken

I must say Ken IS THE MAN! I highly recommend using ALO obviously for the IMOD stuff but also for any of your connection needs.

Ken always takes good care of his customers excellent communication especially considering how busy he is!

I wont use anything else!

Thanks Ken!

No not yet vinnie said tags are due today or tomorrow but he would send me one when they came in. Have to be careful though depending on what case you use for you ipod the small tag might make it so you case won't close. May want to request tag sent seperatly. I will try mine with my illusion case when it comes and let vinnie know if it fits
