That's kinda scary!

Well, they were supposed to ship today with tracking emailed, overnight, but no tracking number and still listed as processing, even when i checked again the afternoon after ordering and was assured without even taking my order number that it would go out.

I always type run on sentences when i am mad.  Regrettably i am an instant gratification type, a bit juvenile i know.

There's something about the W3000ANV that stimulates the "affection" gland...my review just posted on AvGuide's Playback section

i enjoyed your review. i think it made me appreciate owning the w3000anv even more and the pics do its visual beauty justice. like skylab, i wouldn't describe the bass in those terms but no biggie.

Dallan, I'm just like you...i read all the posts, research diligently and then once i pull the trigger I want the cans yesterday haha...

as for the comments regarding the bass...i was suprised on how deep and nice the bass is now (200 hrs burn-100 on head)...but it never obscures the midrange which i have found rare in other phones with nice bass...love these cans

I am looking for a dac + amp for my ATH W3000anv.
As it is obviously not hard to drive  I guess the quality of the source may be the main concern.

I am currently considering the combo Bifrost + Asgard or the Audio-GD NFB 5.2.
Any thoughts about it?

(I would like not to spend more than 500/600€)

Thanks!

A lot better than the 1 star review on Amazon that someone posted a few days back.

It's fine if one doesn't love the W3000ANV. It's not my favorite A-T... But 1 star? Yea, alright.

Some good points about them.  I especially agree with the disappointment with the box that came with it.  Would have liked something a little more reusable and protective like the one that comes with the W5000.
