SQ aside, i did notice that Fiio app stutters in the beginning of music, my M11 Plus ESS also has this. Also bought UAPP to avoid the Fiio music app.

Congrats on the M11S. I never tried the M11 Plus. Let's say if I were to upgrade to the M11Plus would it even be a big difference? I definitely will be keeping the M11S for sure but I am curious

Not a big difference and not worth the price asked, unless you are soundstage-head. UAPP is not really good in terms of visual / UI, but it has so many features and SQ is a little better than Fiio apps.

I just purchased the UAPP but had the hardest time figuring out the wifi connection. Realized that FiiO does not like connecting to a hidden network. Once that was fixed, was able to download pretty fast. Just finished scanning all my music so will give it a listen and see what it can do. I was getting the very brief cut-off at the beginning of each song from the FiiO music player. Hopefully this will rectify that.

Are you playing the music in different sampling rate? You are switching the song manually or not when meeting this phenomenon? Does the issue happen in certain music file? If yes, please send some sample to us for check. Thanks in advance!

frankraindog is one of the members here who brought up the issue. I corresponded with him in DMs and he said he bought a non SanDisk one and solved his problem. He hasn't gotten back to me on which one he bought



Also if you have some free time I have a question. Does UAPP have a setting somewhere where you can choose what Audio Decoder to use like this. Thanks

Recently bought a 128 Sandisk Extreme MicroSD and formatted it to exFAT but I am getting a slight stutter/delayed start at the beginning of songs. Will be checking if any stutter happens during playback.

That's the same one I have. I don't think it's the microSD doing it at this point

Unfortunate but hopeful the good people at Fiio figure it out. As mentioned in this thread use UAPP. If you don't want to pay use Musicolet and use the Musicolet decoder in the options to temporarily avoid the issue for now

Are you sure it was the screen? Because the FiiO M11S already comes with a glass film on the screen for protection.
