Really interested in how well this new HE100 iem pairs with my ES100 since it is made for it.

The HE100 looks like the Final E2000 which is what I'm using it with the ES100 these days so it will be a seamless swap.

Also, love the ES100 with earbuds

I've been using my radsone es100 since just after the official release and combined with my Audio Technica ATH-LS400 they have proven unmissable, I will not leave home without them.
Would be interested to see how this new puppy compares next to the above combo.

The ring-shaped magnet is a great idea. Not trying to push-pull the diaphragm from the centre should prevent break-up as you say. Similar principle to the Focal driver design.
With the sensitivity at that point, my ES100 should be the perfect match for these with plenty of headroom to spare!

I'm very excited about this launch! The ES100 has proven to be an invaluable piece of kit, I use it almost every day, and I expect a similar level of performance from a pair of IEMs that you've designed to go with it. Plus, I love my DDs....they have great sound quality.

Love the ES100 - they work with everything from the $5 Sony MH755 to $1900 ZMF Auteur.

I’m excited to see how the HE100 does in the <$100 price bracket... and how it goes with the ES100. (Will it come with a 2.5mm balanced plug?)

I second the short cable, and a balance 2.5 mm plug with single ended and 4.4mm balance extension cable adapters would be a nice option.

I like the grab and go cable down profile. I wonder how spacious the sound would be. Single dynamic has never disappointed in music coherence.
I wonder if this will be better than the Ibasso IT01.

Thoughts count for something: I've been trying to avoid missing out on those Amazon flash deals on the ES100. It is what it is.
