@Shakur

Spiral Ear SE 5way is very dark for my and they have dense sound. H8P will be better for me. I curious your review about H8P.

Misiekkb, I don't find 5ways dark, just a tad darkish. If you are coming from bright CIEMs though you can find 5ways dark. When I bought 5ways I was coming from Cosmic Ears BA4r which I consider balanced and very natural (neither dark nor bright) and I did not have any problem with 5ways presentation. What's more strange I find 5ways darkish and brightish at the same time.

Although Harmony 8pro have to much treble for my taste I enjoy them very much. They are on the same top level as 5ways. Its just a matter of taste which one to choose. My ideal CIEMs would combine bass and mids of both CIEMs, vocals and treble of 5ways and spaciousness of Harmony.

Misiekkb, Harmony 8 pro definitely would be better for you. On the other hand taking into account that you like fast attack and shorter decay/sustainment Harmony 8 pro will not be ideal CIEMs for you (although they are bright, bass has long decay/sustainment and I would never call them fast; I see that people tend to call bright CIEMs as analytical/fast).
BTW, I now understand what people mean by Custom Art house sound. To my ears Harmony 8 pro is similar in tuning to pro330v2, it just have more bass, more treble, more space and more natural ADSR ie longer decay/sustainment, slower attack.
I plan to write a short review of 5ways on our Polish forum soon. I will write the same about Harmony in February at earliest (since I need to listen to them for longer period to better understand their sound).

Shakur, I love and I hate Harmony 8 Pro. Hate and love depends on the music. I very like H8P in rock, rap, electronics. I hate in anison, classic, jazz, because there are always have bass, even when there is no bass song and too much bass when don't need. Therefore the best CIEM for me are Pro330v2.

My ideal CIEM would be upgrade Pro330v2: more details, more resolution, more highs and bass (when you need to be like a H8P, but when you don't need to have it not be).

This song  sounds great on H8P, better than Pro330v2 (no power, no kick, no punch)

But this song on H8P I couldn't listening (too much bass)

Listened to the acrylic demo unit of the Harmony 8 Pro today (but only briefly).

It sounds great --- as expected!

That looks great for an universal version. Crazy internals in there. I like that kind of shell. Good job my friend, Peter :)

H8P needs good recordings as I always say. Do you find H8P's bass quantity more than 330? Yes H8P hits more powerful with a good depth and attack.

I agree H8P bass is more powerful with a good depth and attack than 330, but 330 bass is more linear, H8P always have a lot of bass, I hate this. If not for the excess bass H8P will be have quantity more than 300.

looking for some advice from anyone here - considering CIEMs for the first time (so please forgive any obvious mistakes I'm making):

- i listen to a lot of electronic music (autechre, lots of deep and dark dub techno, dubstep, etc) and also enjoy well produced 24 bit music (rock & jazz in particular, not so much vocal, more interested in instrument timbre and separation
- recently got an ak100 (will never go back to ipod and lower-end DACs/DAPs) and planning to do the output impedance lowering mod
- currently using Klipsch S4 (they are by no means a high quality headphone but they are a fun listen with ~decent soundstage) and know I can get a much better sound by upgrading to other IEMS or CIEMs
- what i enjoy in music: lots of detail, instrument separation, imaging, soundstage depth and width and a fun signature (~V-shaped is okay with me as i barely listen to vocals preferring a brighter sparkly treble to music)

so with that being said, my big thing is budget as in i don't have much so I'm considering the Music One and i know based on above, some folks will recommend Music Two but has anyone compared either to the InEarz IE-P250 (aside from the reviews on theheadphonelist, that is)?

will Music One meet my needs (above)? or will they be more of a balanced warm sound where I'll miss out on the bass and treble presence that I'm looking for?  how about if i change the cable, would that help?

please also feel free to recommend any other IEMs or CIEMs that come to mind.....thanks!

For you the best will be Music Two than Music One, there are more subbas and higs, this is important for electronics music. And Music Two there are better details. iI you can afford to buy Harmony 8 Pro there is as best offer for you. A more everything relative for Music Two.

Funny nobody ever mention the h8 non pro....

Don't forget the non pro guys.....

The guy was looking for a v shape signature... Having tried both, I think the pro is very much more up his alley.

H8 non pro is very good to rap music or people who hate highs :)
