    Hi

Should be getting a set through in the next couple of weeks, ironically for a set of Campfire audio Comets. Will let you know how it goes.

As to deciding who to go with it would probably depend on where you are in the world. If you are in the states it may be worth reaching out to Campfire direct as I believe they are going to be doing customs and tips as well, you would obviously have to go and ask in the campfire threads about those. That said there's nothing wrong with sticking with Custom Art anyway :)

With regards to impressions make sure the audiologist know's that they are for custom in ears and not hearing aids as there is a difference. If possible it may be worth phoning them and having a chat with them before going in. Oh and make sure your ears are free of wax (yuck) before going in as they will not be able to do it if there are any issues with that regard.

    Good luck!

    Dear Head-fiers,

It's high time to say goodbye to our long time favorites - Ei.3 and Pro330v2. They are now on sale at €295 and €475 respectively, for limited time period, before being completely phased out. So don't miss out - https://thecustomart.com/promotion-clearance/
Both IEMs are huge part of Custom Art's history making this decision even tougher.
Ei.3 debuted as our first venture into acrylic material. It was meant to disrupt the ever increasing prices of the industry providing balanced and smooth sound with focus on fast-paced lows. Designed specifically for those listening to EDM and Rap. It quickly became one of the most popular pick for newcomers to the custom monitor realm, served as inexpensive secondary IEM for workouts at gym, finally it has been increasingly popular monitor among drummers and bassists.
Pro330v2 dates even further back. Released in early 2014 up until now it remained the longest in Custom Art's line up. It's the first IEM utilizing our Single Phase design. Meant to be a true professional musician's stage tool. It proved to be best choice for vocalists - used by some of the most prominent Polish and International singers endorsed by Custom Art. Pro330v2 featured a distinctive mid-oriented characteristics with very quick low frequency response and detailed true-to-recordings highs.

Even though these IEMs are on sale they still come with full 12 months (no-questions-asked) warranty, 30day refit policy, life-time support (as long as sub-components are manufactured), industry-first and longest standing €85+shipping post-warranty repair policy, ownership transfer starting as low as €85+shipping and overall top notch support :)

As always it's hard to let go, but we feel the need to move on and we are confident our FIBAE line up is worthy successor.
Since the beginning of Custom Art we feel we are destined to keep increasing value we bring to the industry. It’s our legacy that is always in the making.

The Pro330v2 and the Music One were my favourite CIEMs among your lineup, but now the FIBAE3 steps up the game!

Interesting read, can't wait to see your next FIBAE improvement!

So had my custom art tips back for a while now. Love them. I've always always struggled with full size customs whether they be silicone or acrylic. Been to two different audiologists and the results have been the same. I won't list the companies but they have all tried their hardest and no dice. Weird, but that sums me up really. Couldn't use universals as I had the same issue that others do, left ear fit fine, right ear small was too small and medium and up was too big. Out of desperation really I decided to give custom tips a shot and asked Piotr to make me a pair figuring I had nothing much to lose (given they cost the same as about 3 packs of comply, as ca already had my impressions on file). Forward the usual wait time and tried them on. Initially a bit of a learning curve as they were quite difficult to get in and out easily. Now they are nice and quick. Using them on a pair of Custom Art Music Two's (discontinued) universals and the original plan of a pair of Campfire Audio Comet's. Funnily enough I find the Comet's a lot harder to put in than the Music Two's. Guessing it's the angle I'm putting them in at. I can get them in but it's a bit hit and miss. The Two's go in nice and easily now, even though the shell's stick out a bit (not too much though). Cons? Well they only fit nozzles with a lip on the end to help keep them on, so anything with a smooth barrel is out (think Westone, Noble, Empire Ears to name a few). I can see this as the way forward for me.

Speaking of the Music Two's I've discovered they've got a nice synergy with the hiby r6. Known for it's warmth and high output impedence issues I was a little surprised at how well they matched. No hiss and lots of bass which impressed me. Good combo I reckon.

Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad they are working.
Most IEMs have a bit different nozzles - and Campfire's are wider in diameter compared to ours roughly by 1mm if I recall correctly.
