I think it's dependent on both the silicone used and the finishing methods as well. Your SE5U may have been done with a matte finish, which is also hazy based on photos from CA's Facebook page:

On the other hand, this is a silicone-filled acrylic-shelled Pro330 from the same page, which seems pretty crystal-clear to me:

If you haven't asked us to not fill it then it's filled. I don't recall making non-filled 8.2 ever. We made non-filled 8Pro once, but that's as far as I remember the only case.

OK...then it must be filled with (clear) silicone. I was not aware of that 'till today.

It's a very good shop.
I started with Ei.xx that I had bought used, he helped me with the procedure to follow.
I chose a full black finish for Ei.xx, the quality is top and the fit is correct.

Then I asked if it was possible to reshell a K10 pair, he told me ok, but beware, Noble to a tendency to use a lot of material, so risk of detriment of conposants.

I took the risk, because the price was correct 250 euro with use of several colors and I leave the choice.

The fit of K10 is even better, the finish is top.

It's a shame they stopped the reshell of ciem from other builders.

I recommend Custom Art.
