New Beyerdynamic T1 (2nd Generation)

Regarding the caveat, did you use the actual Beyerdynamics balanced cable, or an aftermarket one? If aftermarket, what one?

I used Beyers optional XL4 cable. I'm no cable believer, that one is of good quality (connectors and cable) and the price is OK.

Anybody know a good (not expensive) 1,5m cable for T1 v2? Just a double slim jack (left right cup) and 1/4" plug end ?

Beyerdynamic sell a 1.4m cable at EUR 99 + postage. This is also available from thomann.de

It's the standard cable that comes with the second gen T5p, and equivalent to the longer cable that comes with the T1s.

And it uses 7n OCC copper, so you can't really go wrong with it.

good luck finding connectors which fit, my search continues....

What about these ones - LINK

They are said to fit although I don't think they'll look as good as the OEM ones.

I was ordering other items from Double Helix so I added a pair of these for future use. They should be with me next week so I can post a photo of them fitted to the 'phones if you like.

Those were the ones I bought (from a different source), they don't fit, don't go deep enough to make the connection

Are you looking for upgrade cable for T1 2nd Gen or a replacement stock cable?

I look for a shorter cable to have T1 on mobile setup also. Not a real upgrade. My mobile devices always sound worse to desktop setup.

We can get you this from beyerdynamic. We'll have to find out the cost and ETA. This cable comes with the new T 5 P 2nd Gen Headphones. Email info@wooaudio.com if you're interested.

It is very kind from your side and I appreciate it. But Beyerdynamic 1.4m cable is too expensive for my mobile use. It would be worth if I use it in my stationary setup, but there 3m original cable is OK.
I just was looking for a shorter, easier in use cable for use with mobile player.

But as we have possibilty to talk :) Why Woo Audio do not have their products in Poland? We have lot of headphone enthusiasts... And only a few Woo amps, bought as used from EBay mostly...

I presently own an HE 4, any one have any input on how the T1 Gen 2 or Gen 1 compares to the HE 4? I'm looking for a linear upgrade, something with better everything, my HE 4 was a Linear Upgrade to my DT 880 if that makes sense
