Their new products looks very interesting.
Summarised them in one of my local forums.
Have a look if anyone's interested in more info. :)

ATH-ESW9LTD (Link)

Audio Technica's EarSuit series has always performed very well. Hopefully the ESW9 won't disappoint. Around 43000 yen. On sale in Japan from 21st November.

Differences with ESW9:
Teak wood.
New driver.
Permalloy magnetic circuit.
OFC-6N voice coil.
OFC-6N + OFC cable.

summarized. thanks.

I just sent my ESW10jpns to be recabled since they all coiled up with age.

I wonder how these headsets differ from mine? Is there any comparison to the ESW10jpns and not the ES9s; would feel more relevant for me.

Are they just another run of the ESW10jpns? With a different lacquer?

Hi the esw10jpn is more natural toned and very even neutral woody nice mids while the esw11 by comparison had and incremental increase in Soundstage, bass depth, and wet/supple sounding. .

The esw10jpn really delivered a solid solid sound while the esw11 had a roundness and softness to it...
Detail and clarity was on par but the esw11 edged it out overall in detailing of space.

Anyway, definitely interested in the new esw9LTD as the main tiny complaint in the esw11,
is that is was not as bright overall or more lower mid oriented(warm), yet had amazing details and transient bass impacts. .

There you go those were my impressions that stuck from memory of ownership but now I no longer own either and these esw9LTD are on my radar..

Hi,

Can someone please confirm if the ESW9 and ATH-ESW11LTD are same cup/pad sizes?

I want to get the lambskin pads for my Senn Amperiors, and have been told the ESW9 pads work but can't find them, can only find ATH-ESW11LTD...

I can assure that the ESW9LTD won't disappoint.

It looks so beautiful. It looks a lot better in person than in pictures.

Sound wise it sounds closer to the ESW10JPN than the ESW11LTD.

Definitely on my buy list. :D

You've heard it? Mind telling me where you tried them, so that I can try it too since I'm also in Singapore? Thanks!

I'm really liking my 11's. I had been using my D7000 out of my bedroom setup, but switched back to these recently and the mids have won me over all over again.
Now I'm thinking of selling the Denons lol what a hobby this is
