FYI - LHY have just released a higher spec clock - OCK2 - https://www.beatechnik.com/product-page/lhy-ock-2

Impedance can be changed inside using dip switches. It says user selectable impedance but then from the shop it appears that means "at time of purchase" not selectable on a given device.
Same design as before overall but added outs and superb packaging. Hi-end enclosure. And -115db garanteed. It says user selectable impedance but then from the shop it appears that means "at time of purchase" not selectable on a given device.
Thanks, this is good news. But I'd rather have the right connectors and be able to order it custom.Impedance can be changed inside using dip switches.
And it uses a better oxco clock instead of txco clock.Same design as before overall but added outs and superb packaging. Hi-end enclosure. And -115db garanteed.
Looking at earlier comments, the physical connectors will be the same, whether 50 or 75 Ohm, so don't get your hopes up. They will probably just change the dip switches. Thanks, this is good news. But I'd rather have the right connectors and be able to order it custom.
Agreed. I'm going to hold out for the Mutec. It has everything I want.Looking at earlier comments, the physical connectors will be the same, whether 50 or 75 Ohm, so don't get your hopes up. They will probably just change the dip switches.
Dont think so. It was an ocxo before, normally. You can't reach that sort of spec (-110@1hz) with a tcxoAnd it uses a better oxco clock instead of txco clock.
For some reason I thought it was txco.Dont think so. It was an ocxo before, normally. You can't reach that sort of spec (-110@1hz) with a tcxo
DI20HE has an external clock resistance of 50Ω. Designed to connect an external clock, I use the LHY OCK-1 square wave. For some reason I thought it was txco.
I had question regarding the di20he. It looks like it has a clock out bnc @50ohms.
Is this to connect this to the r8mk2 for syncing to the clock in the di20he?
I thought the 10mhz input was for the LHY OCK-1 master clock?DI20HE has an external clock resistance of 50Ω. Designed to connect an external clock, I use the LHY OCK-1 square wave.
Thats unusual. The Audio GD site has this about CLK OUT on the DI-20:
> Outputs 256fs main clock or LRCK/WCLK (3.3V LVDS @ 50 Ohm) . User-selectable .
So, the clock frequency out of the DI-20 is not a fixed 10MHz, and so is not suitable to connect to the 10Mhz input on the DAC
