Hi guys
I'm selling my Magna's M-Way 1m long ACSS First Reference cable at less than 50% of the price. I sell it because I rearranged the lay out of my system and I need a two meters long one.

If anyone is interesed, please send me a PM.

Here are some pics

And I also told you personally that these are very good cables. :relaxed:

I mean, of course, the M-WAY NTRL model

How good are these cables, and what are they made of?

Yesterday I received an R8HE with 10 MHz clock input and, I am already loving it, even when not broken in, and without using my DI-20HE (now at Magna Hifi for conversion of the WCLK output to 75 Ohm).

PCM is better than I ever heard it (and I came from a Holo Spring 3 Level 2).

There is one issue however: everything plays well except for DSD128 and higher via USB. There is a light crackle (like wood fire) in the left channel. This crackle often continues after stopping the track.

I tried many HQPlayer settings (filters, modulators, 24bit, 32bit, 48 DSD etc.) and reflashed the DAC's Amanero board a few times (now using CPLD_1081_DSDSWAPPED, 2006be11). The problem remains, regardless of HQP's convolution and DirectSDM.

I tried with 2 streamers, SOtM sMS-200 Ultra Neo and an RPi4 running GentooPlayer (both with NAA), which did not make a difference.

There is no problem when HQP outputs PCM or DSD64, and neither when using the I2S input from a stand alone source (SD player).

Any ideas?

I hope someone could review/compare Musician Aquarius DAC (No 10 MHz clock input) to R-7 MK2/HE version with a Master Clock running at -117 db/Hz or above … Given both units connected to a decent DDC similar to DI-20/ Gustard U18… can’t find anything on this… If somebody could post an opinion it would be much appreciated…

Let's hope the problem goes away when you get your DI-20HE back and run off IIS. But, maybe your PC is the problem.

Best I could find in 5 seconds of websearch https://soundnews.net/sources/dacs/musician-aquarius-r-2r-dac-review/

But, there are too many variables in your suggestion for anybody to make a meaningful comparison.

Usb cable. Lack of burn-in. Maybe too much latency. It could fix itself after a while.

To make it simple: Is Musician Aquarius equal to R-7 MK2 ?...No reviews on this.
If that review I linked doesn't help I can't suggest anything else.

I guess it can come down to personal preference. If I had to bet money, I stay with Audio-gd. If you are trying to choose between the two, there is more than sound quality to consider.
