And then, each of the 2 psu groups has its own winding, rectification bridge and filtering caps. All is done properly.
I agree its a nice PS but for maximum noise reduction, R core or toroidal is best.

I think if they come out with a ock-3, it will have that.

Must not be so bad. Mutec and Cybershaft also use 50-ohm with selectable impedance using swtiches.

CORRECTION : MUTEC has an actual mix of both 50 and 75-ohm connectors.

I checked it, believe me. It's why the Mutec is on the top of my list.

You can possibly custom-order with a mix, at least from the independent website.
I think you are probably right. And that is probably a good idea for anybody who knows ahead of time what kind of setup he wants.

The OCK-1 purchased a few weeks ago sounds very good after warming up the whole time. Use it with both the R7HE and HE7 mk2s with/ without DI20HE. Compared to the Mutec Ref 10 (-116db) the OCK-1 is not blown out of the water. Sound is a little thicker with the OCK-1 which I like. The more I listen the more I like the OCK-1.

I may order an OCK-2 if I can still get the "$60 dollars off orders over $220" deal I saw from AliExpress on black Friday. BFHONEY60 is code to try on Cyber Monday.

Dammit, the AliEpxress promo code worked. Ordered the OCK-2

Promo code -US $60.00

Gee that's a sharp deal. Which seller was that and/or do you mind sharing a link? (as I always struggle to find LHY products on there as sellers don't use brand or product keywords)

Edit - found one with free DHL shipping - 'GZbotolave', but doesn't accept that '60DEAL' code. This and similar codes I found don’t apply to the Antipodes it seems. Ah well, has helped me resist the temptation.. for now.

Yea, it was Gzbotolave store. I had the clock in the cart 24 hrs. but never completed until early today. The $60 off deal came up when I clicked the "honey" pop up at checkout. See below. That popup usually never works but did yesterday.

Gzbotolave store had a "$3 off for every $30 spent" early today but no longer see it. Guess you have to move when you see the offers. I'm sure there will be more deals to come.

@Jake2 Try 'BFHONEY60' promo code in AliExpress. I just entered it and got the discount in checkout. 60DEAL was a black Friday code no longer valid. Jeez who can keep up...
I just tried it, and got the message: "This code is not applied to your country".

I don’t even know what to answer… well just this: it sure does not to me.
Ah ok, I see, they shoved a toroidal core inside the plastic housing.

Never seen one that small before.

It's still odd, since on the 1st version of the clock the website says "linear power supply" but on the 2nd version it doesn't say that.

Whoever is in contact with Alvin/Vinshine might ask for a clarification on the PSU section and suggest maybe the website could be updated.
