I like it better with my T5P(but not ED8) too, a little bit more juice coming from the Theorem, but IEMs on them are crap, gain doesn't match, and the volume knob goes imbalanced at low volume.

I am having a hard time understanding the bug you describe, are you talking about side keys usable while lock mode is on? There is a setting in advanced settings that control this behavior, same setting for the volume knob too.

Sorry to confuse you.
While lock mode is on and screen is also on,
Side keys are not usable.
Alert message pops up on the screen when I push side key.
but after screen off ,side key works same as unlocked mode.
Can understand the situation ?

Advanced/Key Settings/Lock music quick key = On,
and Lock mode On,
Side key doesn't work either screen On or Off.
 
...then side key should not be locked at anytime
while Lock music key=Off ,I think.... but not so

You are right Ken, this is bugged. Funny that I never used locking.

The case with L&P is always
 
"Shut up and take my money"  ---> "Where are the new firmware!?"
 
But oh well, the software support with L5 Pro has been quite on point, maybe a boost in dev speed would be perfect.

I think they will be priced differently and aiming for different target audience. If you want great sound, L5 Pro is definitely the way to go!

I really love the sound coming from the DAP - can't complain about the sound really. Feels great on the hand, it's solid and well made and it looks sexy LOL.
I'm on the fence on whether I should upgrade from my Oppo PM3s to the Alpha Dogs (which I've had my eye on for a bit).
