I would love to try these.  I have the TMA-1s and am not a DJ, but love their sound for music listening.   Maybe I'll wait until they release an audiophile edition?  Hmm.. tempting to get these.  I love the Tma1s after stretching them out for a while.  The comfort factor right out of the box was a bummer for me.  Putting them between something like 7 - 8 inches (Mid tower maybe, like I did)  for some intervals and stretching them out.  But keep in mind they are designed for even the smallest of heads I think.  Loosing the point of this thread here.  That's all.

I don't have access too my tma1s till I get back, but the friend I loaned them too said that he was able too reduce the veil by putting a square 1.5 by 1 inch piece of creatology foam behind the driver, can anyone with tma1 studios confirm this? I should add that my tma1s are not being modded, he got his own pair after he saw mine and he is using my pair as the reference too the stock ones.

Just canceled my pre-order after reading through this thread... I guess I would not like their sound signature, i.e. they might be too dark for me.
Furthermore the cable with mic seemed to have disappeared from the preorder version: now their site lists just a coiled cable as included.

Too bad, I really like the design...

Listening to my Studio right now with the C421 amp. Haven't made up my mind yet. I enjoy it a lot with techno but I could use more bass. treble is just fine for me. Using the big on ear pads, not the over the ear ones

Getting mine tomorrow.  From all the recent opinions I have heard nothing about what anyone is using as a source and how long they have used them, really.  I noticed dramatic changes with the original Tma-1's in just 30 hours of listening or so.  I've heard great headphones sound like **** plugged into the wrong source.  Leaning only on the gadgetmac.com review.  Hope I find them be keepers.  Will post soon.
