You gotta' love the description given:

Oh yes, I'm sure most of that money goes towards the magnificent sound.  How much do regular ATH-M50s cost again? <sigh>

If they wanted to damp the headphones, Dynamat would have been a bit cheaper.  Just a bit.

What a bargain, only 500 bucks. And for a tenth of that you get the icrap-version. I thing I'm gonna puke.
