I think it was more the wine

But he wants to listen to it. I hope he will be using his hps more with the amp and ipod in the future but he's not that kind of type. He likes music but more as a background thing.

I wish I could do that -- have music as background noise. When I have music playing, I just have to listen and then that's all I can do. I can't think with music playing, it just doesn't work.

In other news, I got a scope today! And I used it to fix my preamp, so now all inputs work instead of just 2. Me happy!!

I can luckily do both. Cause almost always I have music playing and I also need to work

With hps on it is a little harder though to look at it as just background.

Do come! My downgrade headphone will be either the SR-225 or the HD-650, so I'd love to have the chance to be able to a/b them on the spot. I've heard both in various systems, but never at the same time. I do expect the HD-650 to be the better headphone in a balanced setup (why does noone ever balance the SR-225?).

The CD5001 is a cool player, with it's pitch control.

Ehm the CD5001 doesn`t have any sort of pitch control.....

I'm pretty sure it does have a pitch control. There are buttons for it under the "center" buttons on the remote. Atleast, the last one I played with had them. Or I'm confused, which it could be as well.

I haven't really decided on a starting time, though roundabout 10 am sounds good to me. I'll pm you my adress.
