I'm fairly new to this forum, but seeing the type of music i like and thanks to RPGWiZaRd and others who replied to my PM's and all, My sony xb500's are on their way, just a small entry into an uncharted territory for me, but a start nonetheless.
 
So, there's this friend who likes his stock apple earbuds a lot and swears by them and it's his birthday so i would also like to introduce him to this world, i'm pretty cash-strapped and it's his birthday today, so the latest i could get are tomorrow and the only decent headphones in ths local store and in our budget are the two aforementioned headphones-
 
1) Sennheiser HD201
2) Sony MDR-V150
 
There was a Sennheiser PX-20 but I'm sure the above two are better than them.
 
As been said, he only listens to the stock apple earbuds, so I'm pretty sure both of these are definitely an upgrade, however which one of them is better ?

Definitely go with the Sennheisers.  The V150 are not well thought of around here and I think the HD201 will be more of an upgrade over the stock earbuds your friend is using.

Well went to some more shops, and the HD202 was cheaper than the HD201 so got the 202 instead, hope the friend will like it
 
any idea on how the 202 is ? especially when compared to 201 ?
