You can get the non-swivel type (ones selling in the for sale/trade forums). I'm pretty sure that completely eradicates the need for the holding rod things.

Alright, the following question may sound really stupid but please answers with all honesty.

If I would be in a jungle, running, hunting and climbing for a whole year, do you think these would still be on my neck, undamaged? (To have not fallen off or broken off)

In the above situation, No it will not be on your head/neck - nor will any other headphone/headband for that matter.

I have the same problem with my 225i since I changed my cups and headband. Probably operator error. Martin Custom Audio sells aluminum gimbals/roadblocks that will fix you right up. Why on earth would you jog with Grados?

Old as this is, I'll chip in - the Urbanears Plattan headband
works perfectly with Grado driver cups:

Requires a bit a work to extract the headband wiring
(though you could try integrating it with the Grado drivers, I s'pose),
so have a tiny screwdriver and dykes handy.

Used/busted Plattans are easy to find on eBay.

My 325s live on a hook next to my desk,
so I can't speak to abuse resistance,
but I have used this headband to build Grados for friends.
