Hey guys

I currently have a pair of TripleFi 10s that I need for drumming and listening to rock and alternative.

I want to take the next step and get a pair of customs but just need a hand choosing the right one for a good price (either new custom and sell my TF10 or reshell).  Since I live in Australia, I'm assuming any delivery from the US will be about $50.  I've also assumed that professional impressions will cost about $50.

From my research, here are my options (includes impressions and delivery):

1. UM Aero - about $500 (March special) or about $600 (normal price)
2. UM Reshell of TF10 - $290
3. 1964-T $450
4. 1964 reshell - $290
5. 1964 custom sleeve - $200
6. UE-4 $650
7. UE-7 $1169
8. UE Reference - $1400
9. Kozee reshell - $140 (DIY impressions) or $190 (professional impressions)
10. Westone ES3 - $1300
11. Westone ES5 - $1800
12. JH13 Pro - $1200

Realistically, I don't want to spend more than $300 on a reshell and $500 on a new set.  I just put the others in there to wish for.  Anyway, are there any others I should consider and which should I choose?

Been speaking to the guys at UM and they've been really helpful and leaning towards the Aero at the moment or getting the TF10 reshelled through them.

If your willing to take a risk you could get a jh 13 or 16 from the for sale forum, for about 600-700. I would assume 700-800$ total, including impressions + shipping, maybe a little above budget, but spending a few extra for the best available, is worth it. That's what I did, UE 18 Pro for 850$. I got them reshelled from kozee.
