Hmm, currently I'm thinking about sennheiser hd 448 and sony mdr xb500... I would definitely choose xb500 if they had thinner cushions...
Well I would listen mostly electronic but sometimes maybe pop, so maybe hd 448 is not so bad? As I understood, hd 448 are more balanced sound than xb500 (which are dedicated for bass exclusively)? I really like hd 448's design, huh. So hard to decide

OP do you have a guitar center and a local Best Buy? Cause they will give you the best idea of what headphones sound like.

Guitar center will have Shure's which will be more balanced then 448( I'd suggest the 428's over these to be honest.) anbd Best Buy will have XB500's which as of the holidays my lovcal Best Buy got rid of their crappy source so you can use them out of your ipod now.

Ok guys, I won't disturb you anymore, cuz tomorrow going to buy. Last question (got 3 more offers):
What about:
Denon AH-D510? Link: http://www.techfresh.net/denon-ah-d510-headphones/

Denon AH-P372? Link: http://hifi-ring.com/2008/02/21/denon_ah-p372_foldable_headphones.html

GRADO SR60? Link: http://www.gradolabs.com/product_pages/sr60.htm

I'm just wondering about that headphones comfortability (as I said, I like listening looong periods of time) and as I see, they both have metal tug? And what about bass? Thank you guys, you were awesome

Instead of Grado sr-60 go for alessandro ms-1

Well, when I looked for grado alessandro ms-1 and sr-60, I read quite many reviews about these ones. But they have quite big cons. for me like: 1) quite big sound leakage 2) They are not comfortable for long periods listening
Please post, what do you think about Denon AH-D510 and Denon AH-P372? I couldn't find many reviews about those, maybe they were unpopular somehow? Thanks!

Can't help you there bud.
Never tried either.
Best not go with ones that haven't been properly reviewed unless you willing to take the bite.

I can't remeber who it was but he bought both the Denon D310 and  D510 and said the D310 were worth the money, the D510 were not.

If he see's this thread he should be able to give you a good idea of both.

Huh, I really need any info about Denon D310 :frowning2:
I liked that it has aluminium tug, it has 42mm driver unit (which is quite big), I would like to know, whether they are comfortable? If yes, I would choose them if no - HD 448.

By the way, I couldn't find driver unit size of Sennheiser HD-448... Anyone knows?
Grateful.

Below 150 dollars for a closed bass-heavy (for electronic music) cans, you're looking at Sony XB500/700, Denon D1100, ATH-M50, Creative Aurvana Live, and Ultrasone HFI-580.  All of those sound pretty solid and will give you strong bass response for electronic music.  Personally, I would choose the Denon D1100 or Sony XB500, but the M50 is a bit more balanced and isolates more.

Hmm... Denon D1100 & ATH-M50 are not affordable for me, sadly.
Ultrasone simply I dont want them, unexplainable.
Sony XB500/700 - maybe I don't need that awesome ultra great bass, I need little bit more balanced sound.
Creative Aurvana Live - didn't take a look at them. But I have quite many questions:
We knew that creative manufacturer had many problems (economical crisis), wouldn't that harm to headphones?
Do these headphones have more balanced sound? Are they comfortable for long periods of wearing?
Maybe someone has them?
Thanks, great community :)

Well I have made decision about Creative Aurvana Live and HD 448
Creative Aurvana Live:
They have balanced sound
Sennheiser hd 448:
They are comfortable and better looking, at least for me

What about Creative Aurvana Live comfortability? What about bass quality?
What about Sennheiser hd 448 sound quality? If response to this question positively, I'm going straight to buy them.
I'm tired of searching, so do you guys (I think so:))

By the way, why hd-448's is so good? 9.1/10 in testfreaks. Link: http://www.testfreaks.com/headphones-headsets/sennheiser-hd-448/
Creative Aurvana Live 7.6/10 in testfreaks. Link: http://www.testfreaks.com/headphones-headsets/creative-aurvana-live/
