Hey hey, I got a little Fiio E5 with my Ultrasones, but now, I want MOOARRR. I'd also like to know if a good $200 amp could bring the mids forward a bit. My budget is $200 or less. Help would be appreciated =]

Ultrasones dont need an amp

Yes, in the same line of thought that cars don't really need more than 3-4 cylinders.. then again, most Lambo's run on 12 and there is a staggering amount of quality V8's out there

If the mids are too recessed, you need different headphones, not an amp.

true true, but I was hoping to see how far I could take my 580's ampwise and EQwise before I started checking out other cans =]

I also figure a DAC would also help these things excel further in the genres where they currently do..
