Hi, I'm currently thinking about getting the beyerdynamic dt 880 pro with the fiiO E10 amp. My budget is 355$ and i need a headset for at home music listening that can have crazy bass. I don't know a lot of the headphones out there right now and need need to know if there is anything better I can get than the dt 880 pro's for around the same price range. I am currently using the sennheiser pc 330's and need an upgrade. Thank you :)

The 880's are not basshead headphones, they are quite neutral, if you want basshead headphones look at the dt770's in 80 ohm, and then pair them with an amp, if you want something cheaper go with the m-audio q40. As for more expensive you could look at the V-moda M100. If you want to know any others look in the basshead club in the forums plenty of answers will be there.

In a general outlook would you saw the 880 are more clear than the 770? Because they are like 12 year old headphones, and why the 80ohm not 250? Also i can't fined any of the specs for the V-moda M100... are they better than the 770's?

The 80 ohm version is bassier than the 250 ohm version. The DT880, while definitely not lacking in bass, have a more neutral presentation than the DT770. I'd think the DY770 is a better candidate for you.

Just picked up a pair of the Philips X1's. Very good bass without sacrificing the rest of the spectrum. Harder to get in north america, but if you look you can find them for about $300.
