Hello, I have heard that these headphones benefit from an amplifier and was wondering if there would be anything more suitable than the FiiO E9?
I live in Australia so I don't have a great range available to me but I can get the FiiO e9 for $135 AUD and I am not in a position to spend more than $200 AUD on an amplifier.

Would this be a wise purchase?

The ATH-A900s do not really benefit that much from a headphone amplifier.
A Fiio E10 would be about as much as you should spend.

Did you end up getting an AMP? I have the same headphones and would love to know if it made a difference for you
