I think that the amplifier as such cannot eliminate the noise that comes to it. If you connect a good power cord to it, you will hear the difference. Otherwise we do not hear those noise, but removing them opens the sound "information".
Noises are everywhere (on router, USB, incoming current), by removing them, fantastic sonic shifts are achieved

My humble experience

With all due respect! That's why I said Audio-able noise... and with the Violectric way of amplification still, no audio-able noise that's why I claim it's a German engineering marvel. For the price point of my gears, I think I do have very good power cables connected to hear the noise if any.

Nevermind! Just sharing my findings. You may disagree if you feel otherwise!

Does anyone else's Pegasus make a small buzzing noise (I assume from the power supply) when its on? I'm a bit concerned by it.

Both of mine are dead silent.

Mine does. In my experience toroidal transformers rarely buzz, but the one inside Pegasus does a bit. Tightening or loosening the screw under it reduces the noise and you may hear a slight change in sound quality as well. For better? Not really.
