I love it! Very neutral sounding maybe just a tad on the warm side with no audioable noise. The way they achieve this compared to those one chip solution out there, It’s a piece of German engineering marvel!.

What do you mean by "no audible noise"

I think that the amplifier as such cannot eliminate the noise that comes to it. If you connect a good power cord to it, you will hear the difference. Otherwise we do not hear those noise, but removing them opens the sound "information".
Noises are everywhere (on router, USB, incoming current), by removing them, fantastic sonic shifts are achieved

With all due respect! That's why I said Audio-able noise... and with the Violectric way of amplification still, no audio-able noise that's why I claim it's a German engineering marvel. For the price point of my gears, I think I do have very good power cables connected to hear the noise if any.

This is still such an under appreciated dac. Musician has been making bangers consistently now. They deserve so much more recognition. There isn't another dac in this price point that I'd rather own...

I have a Schiit Rag 2 incoming and I can’t wait to pair with Pegasus.

Rag 2 is rated with a maximum 4.0Vrms input on balanced which will suit Pegasus xlr output of 3.55Vrms.

Mine does. In my experience toroidal transformers rarely buzz, but the one inside Pegasus does a bit. Tightening or loosening the screw under it reduces the noise and you may hear a slight change in sound quality as well. For better? Not really.
