Just arrived yesterday, is my fuse installed in the correct direction?
You installed the right fuse for 220V but the fuse is also directional. It's not marked on the fuse so you need to test with your ears as one direction will sound significantly better.

Hi Nicky,

Can you tell us some of the differences you noticed going to balanced?
Well it just sounded better. It's cleaner with more power.

Okay, I installed it yesterday and tested and didn't hear any weird noises, just in case I'll reverse the installation one more time.

I may try later but for sure this after market fuse will save our equipment. I heard horror stories of people who upgraded fuses on Magneplaner speakers and when the fuse blew it didn't protect the ribbons.

I installed the fuse in reverse last night and found that the sound was blurry and the low frequency was weak, so I was sure that the direction of the first installation was correct, the first impression of replacing the fuse, the sound became clear, the bass strength was strengthened, and the background became It's pitch black and you can hear more details, and the vocals are a little bit back, which is really a good upgrade. Let's burn it for a while to see if there will be any changes.

I was lucky that both times when I set the fuse blindly, I did it right.
I wonder why Sinergistic Research, like everyone else, did not set a visible direction on the fuse like all other manufacturers.
This way, everyone has their own logic of where the direction is.
And I would like someone with expert knowledge to explain what the direction of the fuse depends on and why the wrong direction has such a noticeable sound difference

SR does say ”Electricity should flow from the left to the right when you view the fuse.” Isn’t that printed in the leaflet in the package?
It is. They also say to should go from the "S" to the "R".
