if anyone can recommend or give opinions on these models il be glad, im not really
an audiophile like i said something in the level of the 457's will do  :)

Well, I'm no audiophile either. I've never owned an actual quality pair of cans. I don't know about audiophiles, but it seems Sennheisers are really popular. I tested them once and they have a very warm feel. If i were you, I'd look into Sennheiser 580 or 595. You can get some good deals for those on amazon.

How much do you want to spent? by 2 headphones you choose, is it about $50? If yes, Superlux HD668B is a very good sounding headphone for its price (about $30). It has a very good soundstage and separation, with enough detail to satisfy detail lover. Its pretty flat, but I found the bass isn't go very deep. Its very good headphone, nevertheles...  Go grab a pair when you can met them! portapro is a portable sized headphones, while superlux is full-sized headphones. I can't comment much on portapro, since I never try them more than 5 minutes.... what kind music do you listen to? for rock, superlux hd668b is kinda too polite, but very good at jazz, acoustic, vocal, classical. Go for its brother, 662 or 681 for more fun and bassy sound.

edit: no comment on shure 240, never heard them
