To cut it short magni is a bit more dynamic and being semiclosed in comparison a bit wider in soundstage.

Ether c Flow just have less distorsion, more detail overall but particularly in the treble and just a higher sound quality. And by far the most dynamic magneplanar I heard its not way off the magni. In term of sub bass probably stronger too. It has higher demands on your amplifier though.

Expensive but its better on all technicalities minus brute dynamics but I could live happy with the magni if I didnt need the isolation.

Already ditched the felts. I tried the least invasive felt as in the black foam. They did exactly what I was fearing they would do. Muddle the sound. For those having some medical issues with treble they may help I suppose if you can´t eq but otherwise I have no idea who would want this

It´s not like the ultraaggressive ultrasone pro 900 I had that I used make up pads on with great effect. Treble is just super smooth.

It handles 100x better I use it with an ether cx, so can only compare to the dummer cable: no noticeable changes, but YMMV

Hi to everyone on the thread and all at DCA..... a happy new year too you all.

I've said this before but there really is a lot more to be had out of your DCA headphones..
I bought the Chord Anni and it makes My E2s shine like never before.... After transceiver I still think amplification is No 2... everything matters.... Sources......cables Dacs streamers.... but some matter a lot more....
I wish I could say... My E2 is holding me back.... but every improvement gets that more out of the E2 for free...

If you get a chance try the Chord Anni or above your pay grade Amplification.... do it... I wish I had that much mileage left in me....

Hey. Since last few days I'm at huge impressive how good synergy I got from pairing Ether Flow 1.1 with Tempotec Sonata E44 dongle. A lot of power from smartphone with very low power drain and a tons of power from PC. At 50% volume from PC is very loud and after 60% is pain but without distortions.

Look on Etsy. Couple of guys making custom cables. They work well.

I wonder how your ECF reacts to the thing starting 4:44 (from left to right, then from right to left, and so on ). I had heard there so much intensity like scratching, engaging fullness and body on an amp that I used before. Also, the sparkle at 4:57 was so vivid. I would like to know the amps of users (particularly tube amps owners) who hear the same as what I described above. I will buy that amp. I cannot buy my ex-amp, it is a long story. Maybe @mrspeakers can help me.

I haven't been able to find any search results about this feature but it's pretty cool that we can customize the bass like this.

Not sure anyone is considering 1.1 upgrades on ether flows at this point, but I'm gonna write anyways.
1.1 upgrade is crap. just remove stock damping and move on. with 1.1 decals, the sound just becomes lifeless and anemic, especially upper mid to treble. it is just not right.

If You remove those screws it increases or decreases bass?
