If you are able to come and visit to audition HeadGear we have all the products you’ve mentioned. It’s very difficult to make a fair comparison because you can’t use the same amp to be sure you’re hearing a fair comparison. Otherwise my friend I’d walk over to the headphone department and give you some input on my impressions to help you with some insight. If you’re ok with a comparison with us using the same gear you use, knowing the Electrostatics are on a completely different amp, we could at least give you that comparison. If that works, contact @TSAVAlan and he’ll do a comparison for you under those parameters.

Hahaha you know, as often as I’m there working on Ford projects I probably should. The reality is I’m spoiled rotten here in the Southern California weather for sure!!

San Diego is s nice place to live. “It Doesn’t Suck”.

SD is about 1.5 hours away unfortunately. Dan from MrSpeakers seems to do that drive easily. We do allow trade ins with brands that don’t suck and we don’t think Moon by SimAudio sucks.

Utopia is very nice, IMO possibly the best of Dynamic headphones at the present still. But to compare Dynamic headphones to Estat, it is just different categories. The one thing I can say for sure is that my Stax 009 set up wins over Utopia. Voce ? I am curious about it still

Excellent, I agree they do not "suck". I have the 740p preamp, 860a amp and Dali Epicon 2. Looking at downsizing to a HP amp and perhaps the new Mr. Speakers Voce. To some, this may sound crazy, but the Moon is my second system. Now, I just need to find a place to live in SD, grrrrrr...

Just out of curiousity (because i have not heard them yet), why stax 009 wins easily over utopia for you? I heard many stories that people ditched stax 009 after the advent of utopia. (possibly due to greater dynamic punch)
