Yes but what about the warranty?
Where can i buy those anyway?

If you are not in the UK and you buy from the UK there would be no warranty honored in a different country or territory. If you are in a country where you can’t buy the product, you would be way better off buying from MrSpeaker directly.

Even if you have a dealer in your country you can still order and receive in a timely fashion from MrSpeakers directly. We have customers here in California that buy from MrSpeakers sometimes because a day less wait time if we don’t have it in stock.

Yes i know, i bought aeon closed from mr speakers directly but then i had problems with the custom, i had to pay fees etc. I'll just wait.

Yes either wait or use the manufacturer. I think before your headphones might have been over $1000 USD. That’s when customs charges you if the shipper uses the correct HTS code. The Aeon is under $1000 USD and the HTS code doesn’t have a customs charge attached to it.

oh boy oh boy oh boy!

Mine just arrived at my work! Unfortunately, I won't be able to do any listening until I get home since my cubicle doesn't really block any sound...
In my opinion, they look awesome. Just so happens the AFC is my daily that I bring to work so here's some preliminary thoughts, comparisons, and pictures:

First off, the entire photo album.

AFO and the AFC next to each other. I really love the "ÆON" logo on the cups:

There are a couple differences I noticed pretty quickly:

1. The AFO come with 3 different pairs of tuning inserts, whereas the AFC only had one. It says the pair with one notch is pre-installed but mine were not. I wonder if that was either supposed to be deleted or the filters were actually supposed to be pre-installed. Regardless, it doesn't really matter:

2. I can't tell if the cable is different or not. I have an Impact Audio Cables cable I use with my closed model so I can't compare both stock cables here at work. My impression is that the cloth sheathing is softer than on the once I got with the AFC. The cable also seems to retain bends more but feels less likely to want to return to its coiled shaped. Overall, it seems more supple. I could be wrong since they look the same, but that's just what it seems like based off my memory of the AFC's stock cable. The connectors are the same:

3. The mesh inside the earcups is thinner on the AFO vs the AFC. On the AFO, the driver is visible through the mesh. Not that this really changes anything from a visual or design standpoint, but I do think seeing the driver is pretty cool:

That's all I have for now. Sound impressions will come soon!

Lol, I forgot to tell the shipping team to pre-install the 1-notch white pads, but I corrected that this morning. Beat you to it! Happy listening... :)

Thank you for the above impressions so far and enjoy them. How is the weight distribution and comfort between the two?
They feel like they're pretty similar. Weight distribution feels the same to me. The open feels like it weighs a tiny bit less when I hold one in each hand but can't really tell the difference on my head. As far as comfort goes, it's similar to the closed; very good. I suppose one thing to note is that my left ear slightly touches the mesh on the closed model and doesn't on the open. I'm just going to assume it's because the pads on my closed set have broken in and squished a little bit. The pads on the closed are a little squishier where the open feel firmer; again, I'll attribute this to being new vs broken in. I've worn my closed pair for at least 150+ hours.

Good to know. Thanks!

Is the cable any different than the first batch of the closed back model or am I just imagining things?

The actual cable is the same, we adjusted the fabric sheath several months ago, it's a little looser to make the cable a little more supple.
