im found this '...Tidal HIFI subscription offers 2 main types of sound quality: High Fidelity sound quality (FLAC, 16 bit / 44.1 kHz) and Master sound quality (FLAC, 24 bit / 96 kHz)...' So,first unfolding im get 44.1khz and my dac second unfolds to 88.2khz or some songs to 96khz. so i have full mqa music . there is no 192khz at tidal, or few songs only?Yeah I see several problems here. Somebody gets Tidal and says wow this sounds great. Then the pileup starts and he is told he is being scammed. If he likes it he's not being scammed. Nobody said "all beef hamburger" they said "beef hamburger". It's lossy, it's highres, it's something we haven't seen before. Anybody who thought he was getting redbook had no reason to think that (although there is certainly plenty of redbook on Tidal).
I have news for you, if you thought you were getting bitperfect redbook from Deezer or scamazon you're not, at least not from the desktop apps. Yet I don't see the angry mob taking up the flag on this.
The other problem is people who don't subscribe to Tidal bashing Tidal. Those guys have no standing, it doesn't affect them at all, they should just shut up. Get a life?
I have Tidal Hifi Plus and I have been a subscriber for years. I'm happy with it, I know it's lossy, it sounds good on my gear, and it's priced well in my country. I have other services also but neither of the other two have a bitperfect desktop app. Tidal does. So if you want it, pay for it. If you don't want it, don't pay for it. It seems like option c, don't pay for it and also go on an unholy war against it means the people who choose option c have some problems. And they go in my ignore list. Life is good![]()

It depends on what the music owner chose. There is plenty of music at 88, 96, 192, and also plenty of Redbook. And this actually varies by country or region.im found this '...Tidal HIFI subscription offers 2 main types of sound quality: High Fidelity sound quality (FLAC, 16 bit / 44.1 kHz) and Master sound quality (FLAC, 24 bit / 96 kHz)...' I am away from my main setup right now for a while, hopefully somebody else can give you some examples of 24/192 albums. The DAC I have here does not display the bit depth or sample rate.
We checked some Metallica a few years ago and the guys in America didn't have Masters (MQA) for a lot of albums we had Masters for in Czech Republic. It really varies a lot depending on the marketing agreements that the streaming services make with the local business representatives of the record companies.
Rihanna "Lift me up" on panel current sample rate shows 96000hz, music paused or suns shows same OFS 96khz. Louis Armstrong "What a wonderfull life " sample rate shows 96000hz, song paused shows OFS 96khz,but playing music screen shows 192khz,,,, etc, other masters current sample rate shows 88200hz ,but paused shows 88.2khz, but playing song shows 44.1khz... So, all is ok, im listing full MQA quality? full unfolded? what means OFS? and PCM?or different pcm means every song different unfolding software or hardware? It depends on what the music owner chose. I don't need your opinion when I have the facts.
Clearly you're having trouble making a clear distinction between the two.
You don’t comprehend at all well.
Perhaps try re-reading my comments slowly and methodically without your anti MQA anger muddling in your head what my actual words mean.
I have the facts also, I just have better things to worry about and I am not interested in trying to push my opinion about the facts down your throat.

You should contact the device manufacturer and they should explain what's going on.Rihanna "Lift me up" on panel current sample rate shows 96000hz, music paused or suns shows same OFS 96khz. there is no sound diffderence enabled or dissabled Passthrough MQA. when disabled and song play screen shows OFS 44.1khz and when song paused -shows PCM 88.2khz.
Well that is a different version to what you described before.
Of course it shows PCM when paused since there is no data getting to the DAC it can no longer no what it is connected to so it defaults to whatever it is programmed to say on the screen.
xDuoo poor company from china. they never answer to mails .of course, they making great dac, amps with same or better sound vs 3-5x more valued dac from other manufactures. my xduoo TA-22 dac/amp hybrid for 450eur is simply phenomenal sounding with stock tubes. many rolling tubes for better sound, but here stock tubes is TAD 12au7a very rich sounds from bottom to end. im tried RFT.Telefunken tubes ,but stock way better sounds. simply good tuned dac.You should contact the device manufacturer and they should explain what's going on.

Yeah it probably stays at whatever it last sensed. But the OP has a lot of questions on his gear that we can't answer, so whoever made his DAC ought to give him/her some help.Well that is a different version to what you described before.

In that case, try to find threads for your gear here on headfi. Usually somebody in the thread who has the same gear can answer questions betterxDuoo poor company from china. they never answer to mails .of course, they making great dac, amps with same or better sound vs 3-5x more valued dac from other manufactures. my xduoo TA-22 dac/amp hybrid for 450eur is simply phenomenal sounding with stock tubes. many rolling tubes for better sound, but here stock tubes is TAD 12au7a very rich sounds from bottom to end. im tried RFT.Telefunken tubes ,but stock way better sounds. simply good tunes dac.

You are overthinking it.
If the DAC is MQA decode capable set the app on the computer to Exclusive Mode, Force Volume and MQA Pass Through to on, if it is a renderer set Pass Through to off.
Forget what it shows when paused, that is meaningless.
Frankly forget what it shows when playing because it will be whatever it will be with your set up, you can’t change that. Forget it and enjoy the music.
OFS means Original Frequency Spectrum and it means that the app on the computer is doing the first part of the MQA decoding. If you set pass through and the DAC is MQA decode capable it will show MQA. I imagine if it isn’t MQA decode capable but a renderer it will show OFS, I am not certain of that.
PCM means Pulse Code Modulation and is just the method if the digital representation of the analog signal.

Oh no, how awful for me.
You don’t like a counter opinion to yours so much you literally pretend the opinion doesn’t exist, the internet forum version of covering your ears and loudly saying la la la la !
Get a life.
