Looking at the survey, it looks like the next most popular vote was for next Saturday, the 25th, which coincides with your suggestion to hold it next Saturday. Actually, tomorrow was the next highest available vote, but there's no way we can prep in time to have it tomorrow.

Shall we commit to the 25th? What time works for you and the rest of the guys?

We should probably setup another vote to find another time as my date list didn't quite go that far into fall. Sadly, I too am going to be busy on the 25th.

Did you guys do a 4 hour meet last time? What about from noon- 4 or 5pm?

The space was $75 per hour and I'm happy to cover the cost again, the time doesn't matter but as soon as we know the exact time when I need to let the building manager know and reserve it.

There is no reason you should flip the bill.
As mentioned, I am able to reserve a room at the Santa Clara City Library for free for about 2 to 4 hours for 10 people (maybe a little more).
If you guys want, I can look to reserve the room.
I've already inquired about what times will be available on the 25th, and let you know.

Just a thought, maybe talk to Audio High in Mtn View and see if they want to host something on a Saturday. I haven't checked them out yet but according to Yelp reviews they are extremely nice.

Hey All,
Unfortunately, the library does not have any openings for this Saturday. They said it is available on Sat, Sept 1st, from noon to 5:45. However, I can book it for a max of 4 hours. If I lock it in for noon-4, someone who has a Santa Clara library card can book the next slot of time from 4-5:45, so that we have the entire time.
Let me know if this day and times work for you. We will need a headcount as well. I would hate to say it's first come first served, as I am not sure there will be more than 10 of us, but please keep in mind there is a max occupancy (that the library probably won't enforce).
Also, let me know if someone here has a library card, or wouldn't mind signing up for one so we can block the entire 5-3/4 hours.
