How would you compare between KZ AZ09 Pro & FiiO UTWS5 ?Moondrop Kato paired up with UTWS5 using adapter from AE.
I'm rocking KZ AZ09 Pro with Arias now. I do wish for a bit more "dynamic" & "bass impact" from time to time ...

I sent it to the service center. Turns out, it's just ear wax that got deep inside where I can't see. They used a syringe to clean it. And it's fine now.try replacing the nozzles with the other pair you're not using

The UTWS5 is a little bit more powerful than the az09pro. I think a better move will be upgrading the Arias to either Ikko OH10 or if you want IEM in the same price range, get the tinhifi T3+.How would you compare between KZ AZ09 Pro & FiiO UTWS5 ?

Oracle might be a tougher fit than B2 and Variations. The shell is huge! B2 and Variations were great fits for me but I struggle to fit the Oracle. Thanks for the info. Actually, the Kato and its medium Spring Tips are a good fit for me. I was just considering the Variations, along with the ThieAudio Oracles, as an upgrade. I’m tempted, but I’ll probably wait until I can afford the endgame Sennheiser IE600s… probably for Christmas …
But the tone/timbre/tuning is the best I've heard. So so sweet sounding - so easy to get lost in the music.
It is my end game IEM and basically the only thing I find it lacking in is fit.
But I digress since this is the Moondrop topic.

Do y'all use the gray case that came with your Blessing 2 Dusk for carrying the IEM? I find that I have difficulty fitting the cable inside.

Hi folks, I would like to share my experiences with cable (conductor material) rolling vs Moondrop S8. Changing the conductor has a big impact on the sound of this iem. I have been using them for over three years and they still play without any problems. My current DAP is SR25.
S8 with scc (single-core copper) - Somewhat woolly bass, neutral to bit brighter mids, treble with emphasis around 5kHz and some BA timbre.
S8 with spocc - Tighter bass, neutral mids, emphasis on mid and high treble. Treble has still some BA timbre and can be fatiguing. Stage is more holographic.
S8 with gpocc (golden) - Tight bass, neutral to bit warmer mids, which is elevated, even and bright treble, which is very smooth. Can't here much BA timbre here. Most holographic stage. My second favourite conductor with S8.
S8 with occ - Best sounding conductor. Warm and deep bass, neutral mids and treble with best timbre, the most lifelike sparkle of all. The best soundstage and imageing. Best balanced between fr. ranges.
I didn't try ofc cables much, but the sound is not as detailed. The bass is tight, mids a bit brighter and treble nicely united with good timbre.

Are there any plans on an S8 but with a vent of some sort? I'm sensitive to the pressure.

What kind is the standard cable it comes with?Hi folks, I would like to share my experiences with cable (conductor material) rolling vs Moondrop S8. S8 with occ or scc - default signature. Woolly bass, neutral to bit brighter mids, treble with emphasis around 5kHz and some BA timbre.
S8 with spocc - Tighter bass, neutral mids, emphasis on mid and high treble. Treble has still some BA timbre and can be fatiguing. Stage is more holographic.
S8 with gpc (golden) - Tight bass, neutral to bit warmer mids, even and bright treble, which is very smooth. Can't here much BA timbre here. Most holographic stage. My favourite conductor with S8.
I didn't try OFC cables much, the sound was not very nice.

Oh, it's also ofc, though 6N Litz. I forgot that and beleived it's some sort of occ, because of better sound quality. Sounds also really nice. What kind is the standard cable it comes with?

Not yet unfortunately… our blessing2 and variations was vented but we haven’t try ambient vents on BA.Are there any plans on an S8 but with a vent of some sort? I'm sensitive to the pressure.

I paid $21 for spring tips just 2 days ago. Might as well have just bought this and donor'd the cable + tips instead
