How does the B2 bass compare to U12t from 64audio?
I also find the B2 looking great and all but it maybe too big for my ears.

Just off the top of my head, U12t’s bass has much more texture and sub-bass emphasis. I don’t think the attack is quite as fast as B2, but it’s got better dynamics and carries more authority.

I’d have to A/B them more to go in-depth, but the U12t’s bass is “better” if you’re going by these metrics, despite being BA.

The bort unfortunately can't fit, MK2 female is too recessed.

I believe not.
Violet II has similar connectors to bort at default.
You'll need to order it for recessed socket specifically, which may cause extra lead time.
