Uhhh tws i am in the market for a good audiophile one would love to get one from moondrop BUT please don't forget good bluetooth codecs ldac would be the best aptx is also ok

You won't see LDAC for any TWS with the actual battery technology, they would last like ~1-2 hours (or less) which is comical. Not even Sony uses LDAC and aptx for their TWS.

Edit: Wrong info.

in fact HiBy did develop a model, HiBy WH3 with LDAC support/around 4 hr battery, and it ended up SONY changed their testing standard for LDAC license near their release date(which result in HiBy beging asked to cancel current LDAC support until further notice)...

in fact HiBy did develop them, and it ended up sony has delayed their license... I think sony will release something soon.

I'm a bit confused, did HiBy develop LDAC? and license for what? o.O I thought HiBy had their own thing aka UAT. But I can see a TWS using "hifi" codecs such as LDAC if they make it chonk enough for extra batteries (maybe like the new Sony WF-XB700), just not sure about higher bitrates and keeping it usable for more than 2-3 hours. But I hope I'm wrong with this one.

They follow SONY standard for LDAC, and after some testing it seems like have around 4 hours of battery life for 96/24 playback.

Oh, I saw the edit now. I misunderstood that HiBy part but now it's clear. That's really good news even more if it's 990kbps. Looking forward to seeing this new possible Moondrop TWS, btw. :)
I think we should have that after Sony released new standard...
We did use hiby's solution for the Bluetooth part.

I wonder when or if the TWS will be release. I can't imagine anytime soon with all the projects that Moondrop has: SSR production, SSP, Earbuds, new Open-back, potential new bullet type IEM, and things they haven't leaked yet.

Wow, I must say that the transparent TWS case/Iems looks freaking awesome, I hope we'll get more information soon. Im sure they'll be among the best sounding IEMs on the market, I'm just slighly worried about the software experience. Software is as important as the hardware when it comes to IEMS, like a flawless app experience, ambient mode, EQ, Firmware updates, control customisation etc.

Maybe that transparent case is just for prototyping. But it looks really cool
