@MOONDROP

How's SSR isolation?does it block sounds like ety er2se?
It's not the same deep insert design as er2se, so will not be as good as er2 series, but you still get plenty isolation.

Wanted to share some quick impressions of the new-to-me Kanas Pro that just arrived:

Smooth for days. It flows so well and has such mid-range musicality that (and this dates me), it reminds me of the old AKG K501 more than anything else. Powered in my main rig by Gungnir MB -> Decware, it doesn't lose it's smooth quality but scales up nicely with refined highs, deep focused lows, and an overall substantial sound. Nice job @MOONDROP !

From Moondrop official store on Aliexpress

Wondering whether USD$296 is before or after applying the select coupon? Should be able to stack with site-wide coupon to bring the price down further. I am sold if the final price is < $280.

Not sure if people know this, but my friend's Starfield paint chipped, and then he decided to scrap the paint out. Then realised that it was a KXXS shell underneath :k701smile: Guess they might have just reused the shells

i decided to investigate further :floatsmile:

Not complaining; cause the Starfield is a cheaper IEM, and I think more people should be exposed to the KXXS too. Just found it interesting that it may be a rebranded KXXS

Which ever way you look at the Starfield it's terrific value for money.

Exactly, for the price of KXXS, it was already a good deal. But I was just thinking that just lowering the prices would have been more ideal? They wouldn't need to spend money on repainting the shells
