Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread

guys what silicon tips do you prefer using with your starfield, kxxs?
I'd like to achieve a more secure comfortable fit.
Currently using spinfits. My starfields sit really shallow in my ear. Even attempting deeper insertion they slowly work their way out. Part of this is the heavy metal housing, which I feel is moving up an down, while I'm walking
Final E tips were not that great fitting on the nozzle.
I hope that the S8 (which I'm waiting to arrive) fits more securely.

I use the azla sedna originals on my kxxs. I tried anything else but nothing comes close to them . They sound much cleaner whit them

I use spiral dots with everything, including kxxs....I just like how they make everything sound smooth.

I used to own moondrop s8
probably the most beautiful iem that i’ve ever owned
sold them because there was some kind of pressure feeling to my ear canal

Moondrop is really capable of making good looking iems. The pressure you are feeling might be due to it having no vents.

I also had similar fit issues with my Starfields with the stock tips. When I could get a good seal with the stock tips, they sounded great, but then they would slowly start to creep out of my ears, an the seal would be lost.

My usual favorite Final Type-E tips for some strange reason would always come half-way off of the nozzle, so they were out too.

Fortunately, my JVC Spiral Dot tips fit the Starfield's nozzles and my ears perfectly and solved all of the fit issues for me, and they sounded pretty good too. They made the lower treble maybe a tiny bit too hot IMO, but nothing serious.

I dont tried them. I tried azla normal, azla light, spiral dots, finale type e, mandarins, sony hybrids, comply t400. And all kind of no name silicons and foams. And i settled whit the azlas

Do you like the aet07 on the kxxs? Should i gave them a try ?

They are made from soft memory foam and don’t fight the inner part of your ear. Snug, but comfortable and are on both S8 and Starfield. I don’t have an issue with pressure listening to the S8. I will be keeping the foamies on the Starfield, but go back to a set of Symbio W on the S8.
