I’d also like to say I have been blown away by the level of inspection, knowledge, discernment and enthusiasm posters on this forum display. I’ve learned a great deal. Also, the hi fi audio world seems like a possible rabbit hole, budget permitting. The more discerning, the greater the demands, the more one explores and spends. It’s fun though, and few things are more enjoyable than music well heard.

I ended up really liking the Kanas pro. I think it's a good performing iem with rich tonality to make the sounds musical. I really enjoyed listening to old Motown hits off of it, and it does seem to help old recordings sound fuller and rich. Also, Daft Punk, and electronics sound good due to the fast response, and bass. I also have notice that when I went from low quality to higher quality streaming, the KPE did scale up in quality of it's output.

I should try classic rock to see if it enhances the sound as well.

You guys should try this album with Kanas pro. Damn good! It's 2006 remastered version.

+1. Alive (2007) is sublime with KPE & Mojo. Shanling M0/AK120 II are not doing Justice to these (less body, narrow soundstage and poor imaging). If you have KPE, do get the Mojo.

Has anyone compared SONY IER-M7 to Massdrop Plus or Moondrop Blessing?

I could see Mojo being a good pairing with it. Chord stuff maybe good pairing with dynamic drivers.

This may just be me, but it maybe the HD650 of the iems minus the bass (as 650 lacks subs). The mids have similar character of enhancing the music such as old recordings.

I`ve been comparing few days KPE against my desk setup and while latter is still littlebit more "real" and natural sounding, I find KPE coming very close! :)
One pic says it all:

I agree. I also own the HD 650s. KPE and HD 650 are both natural sounding. Mids on both are very realistic, although the former has more treble and not as smooth and rich sounding, but comes close.

Same thing with Fidelio X1 (which along with Fidelio X2 are sometimes referred as HD650 cousin).

Belfast child by Simple Minds sounds very natural and spacious on the KPE , so does Brother in arms by Dire Straits. Do check them out guys.

Money for Nothing is spectacular on the KPE. Arguably better than anything else I own. The half-cocked wah guitar tone is chewy.
Great song. Dire straits are one of my favorite artists. They are amazing.
