Yes they look real but it is just a picture it may not be what you receive. The price is about what I would expect to pay for them. If you buy them check to see if what you get is what is in the picture.
If they are fake you can get your money back via paypal.

Just because he has good feedback from people who bought MTPC from him does not guarantee they are genuine.
these buyers may never have heard quality iems before so they will think the fakes are good because they are better than apple buds.

I would go Onecall open box if you want to save money. At least you will get the real thing. As for Ebay, I have learned the hard way to avoid any known counterfeited product unless you have verified the reseller is an authorized reseller.

Cause most people want to save a quick buck, which is understandable.  But the risks are still there, just be prepared to follow through with the proper procedures should they end up being fake.

saving a couple bucks isn't worth it...especially if the risk of purchasing a counterfeit product is very high, if you call onecall.com, they will offer you a price much lower than the MSRP displayed on there website, first time I called, they offered me $220, second time, $250, YMMV, just keep trying until you get the lowest price possible

now tell me my friends...is this real....

it aint' exactly cheap and it ain't exactly real....

Anything from ebay will NOT have the incredible Monster warranty. It's not worth whatever money is supposedly being saved, and that's on top of the serious issue of fakes.

Onecall is a better option. Monster's warranty is great and worth having if you actually want to keep the earphones you're buying for more than a short while.

agreed, and yes, the sale I listed is for a pair of obviously fake phones...the plug is a dead giveaway, if it doesn't show the complete plug, the eartips and all the accessories, than it is most likely fake

Thats been a topic of much discussion.  Just be smart about it if or when you need it.

Hi,

I'm just curious on the Monster's lifetime warranty.

I am going to take a short trip to the U.S. in a few months. During my visit, I am thinking of purchasing a pair of Monster Turbine Pro Golds or Coppers.

Should the Turbine Pro's develop a fault when I am back in the UK, is the Monster lifetime warranty still valid?

Or do I need to buy the Turbine Pro's from an authorised UK distributor for the Monster lifetime warranty to be valid in the UK?

Thanks!

You'll be fine.  Authorized is authorized even on Mars.  Monster won't leave you out in the cold.

I was shocked to see what MTPC were going for on the Bay, there were so many completed listings in the $50-60 range that I almost could not believe it until I came back to this thread and heard about fakes.  What a shame since it drives down the value of authentic items.  Same thing happened to my IE8s (Which I will probably never part with
smile_phones.gif
).

This seems to happen with every iem I become greatly interested in.  I have no faith in scam-bay.

From watching a couple of youtube videos, in addition to the nice monster 1/4inch adapter, the included Super Tips come in separate sealed silver packaging that actually says "Super Tips" in nice black lettering. The fakes have similar looking silver packaging but there is no lettering. Maybe someone with more experience can confirm or deny this, as I have not yet purchased the coppers.
