They are new. Monster refurb products end with -50 instead of -00 in their SKU

Doesn't look like that's completely true. Some refurbs on the outlet store have -00.

ahh, they fooled me again..
anyway, if you have any doubts, just look the sku up online. The MMDT's come up on amazon with that exact sku, while the refurb turbine copper and gold they sold were -50

Thanks for the tip.....great deal!  FYI, looks like they took down the Valentine's Day coupon code, it told me the code had expired.  Still, $149.00 delivered to my door is excellent!

I'd have to say I'm pretty pleased with their customer support (email-wise at least). I couldn't reach them via phone but they replied within 24hrs of my email and are sending me a new pair despite mine being bought from eBay - open box, I don't even think they verified authenticity (although I did link them to a photo I took). Now I'm going to have 2 pairs as someone from this forum bought one on my behalf to ship to Canada.

I sent out the email 2 days ago. I'm in Canada so I believe it was handled by a company contracted by Monster as the email shows it's from AMD Canada (my original email was forwarded from Monster to AMD).
