Guys I'm looking to get a good deal on this and I keep coming across these Chinese websites with these selling for around $70! Obviously fake but there seems to be more of these than any other phone I've looked. Why is that?

Nice! MDs on J3 with Eq set to 'Maestro' suited my ears the most =)

Anybody know how these compare to the re262. I'm thinking about getting a new pair of IEMs but am torn between the two choices

They sound very different in many ways. I don;t think a comparison with the MD and RE262 would be very useful.

Which one do you prefer?

They"re both mids and bass iems, but they are still very different regardless of that from what i've read. Will be getting mine in a couple of days, so I'll see.  So far i'm predicting less bass quantity, more forward mids and more extended treble from the RE262s coming from MDs.

From the very little time I had with them, the treble was the least imporessive part of the RE262's sound. I think that's in line with what other's have said. Less bass than the MDs, sure, but more forward mids? I wonder about that as the MDs already had pretty warm, forward mids. Let us know what you think.
