If only the 20% off code worked on the 1060 today.. I would have immediately bought it.

Not to worry. The M560 is excluded & though I did a quick review of the excluded items, I did not see the M1060 excluded but when I loaded it into the shopping cart, the discount won't take. I originally was going to wait for reviews BUT my concern is that after the initial 500 units are sold, they will adjust the price upward. They already show $349.99 as the list price on Ebay. Maybe then you will get a 20% discount! If these turn out to be what we are all hoping for, $299.99 is a great price. I have one on the way.

I really don't need another pairs of headphones. I already have th-x00, hd650 and 400i ... but could not resist after having watched zeeos and seen these cans that look so much like lcds... a completely impulsive buy so let's cross fingers !

Do you think this would be better than other Planar Headphones such as say Hifiman Edition X v2.

PS: I am considering either this or HEX v2.

My recent purchase of the HEX V2 is why I'm passing on these for now. I'll soon have 7 full size headphones once my Massdrop PC37X ships next month. I need to sell off 4 headphones I have that literally collect dust now. The HEX and TH-X00 Ebony are definite keepers, and I can't imagine these would get much head time right now.

Really hoping these punch FAR above their $300 price. I may just buy a pair to try for myself. I've been fighting off the purchase since they went live yesterday.

Will that Monoprice Bluetooth Dac Tube Amp be powerful enough to drive these? This is the 1st pair of headphones I will need and amp for. Looking at the Schiit Magni 2 but really like the wireless capabilities of the Monoprice amp if it is not going to be just rubbish. Any advice greatly appreciated

Okay...I caved and bought them. If they even compete with any of the headphones people have been mentioning, then they're too good to pass up. They just look amazingly well built as well. RIP ME.

191 is the max order now, so the sales have slowed a bit. I'm guessing they'll sell out over the next week.

I just bought a Schiit Fulla 2 to power these, because I realized that while my phone can power 50ohm IEMs, it probably won't power planar magnetic cans.

The Fulla says it delivers up to 230mW per channel at 50ohms... Is that enough?

Maybe I should have done more research ><
