Mini XLRs are a pain to solder for and I now hate braiding. It was fun though

Wanted to chime in on an experience I had last night while playing SWTOR. I was rushing through a section that was a battle field map, and there's a scene where a ship flies in, drops off troops, and flies out past you. Using Redscape as my VSS, the M1570 rendered the audio positionals perfectly, and even experienced the ship hover above, and fly over and behind me. Caught me off guard with the quality of the above cues, then the above and behind cues. I stopped and took a moment to absorb the whole scene.

Guess this proves the headphones are great for gaming, and movie watching.

Just received my M1570, but the Handband really could be wider for the weight.
Sadly I can´t find the old HE560 V2 Headband anymore like Jotaku used to mod them.

Did anybody tried this headband some chinese also list for the M1570 on eBay, Ali... or other plattforms?
It´s priced at around 50$/€

Edit: I just ordered the headband and will report back when it arrives.

Very interesting, looking forward to hearing your experiences. I personally don't dislike the current headband though I also wouldn't mind an upgrade if this pans out.

Arrived just 3 days ago and sick of the non standard pinout already, so I removed the bridges to make it reusable for the original cable and ones made for Audeze. (Edit: 1 + and 2 GND)

And my yoke pins/screw are now just 1.75mm PETG pieces from 3D printing just cut to lenght and put in, the screws just held in by glue and no actual threads are stupid.

It’s pleather, I asked them.

The strap will eventually crack and peel, nothing you can do to prevent it, unless it's made from PU pleather and the thick kind. Let's hope it's the durable kind.
