A big part of head-fi is modifying our headphones for better performance.  But even with searching, sometimes you just can't find that mod you're looking for without help.  I cannot for the life of me find the HD280 blue-tack mod anymore, all I see are weird links that lead me to IEM pages of all things.

This is an archive of as many modifications on the site as I can find.  I tried to find the more common mods, or just ones off of the top of my head.

How to Help:

Post any links to mod write-ups you can find in this thread to add to the collection.  I will update this post as necessary.

If you have a better way of organizing this, I am open to suggestions.  This was just an idea I wanted to get started.

I'm sure someone can do a much better job organizing this than me, but nobody has even started such a thread like this before, at least not one I could find by searching.

EDIT:  Added the Denon mods above, and tried to make the formatting a little better.

Well the top part is perfect, i think you dont know how to edit things (no offense) and that's why you posted for the second time. On the first posting with Sennheiser, etc; all organized, just press the little pencil in the left corner and add all your Denon stuff and whatever you find.

I didn't make the second post.  That was someone else contributing to this, which is part of the point of this thread, as I can't possibly find all the mods myself.  I added his links to the actual directory above.  I know how to use the edit button :p

I was talking about formatting.  I recently edited it to a slightly different appearance, which looks a little less cluttered and easier to look at than before, at least in my opinion.  But I'm open to more ideas.

I confused myself, but it looks good none the less. Congrats!
