I have the stock TX0 strap on my Argon but I also have a Modhouse strap (Alcantara) on my stock MK3s. I find both to be comfortable, and haven't felt a need to ditch the stock TX0 strap.

Is there a recommended replacement cable for this headphone?

Anything with a right angle on one end, v-moda is popular and they sell them with. Oh periapt will do a T50 cable.

I actually made my own but frayed the paracord a little, might try it again.

That cable looks nice, but I wonder what the sleeve is made out of ..

They do a portable and pro cable, "Type III". Paracord and nice and flexible.

I had issues with the Periapt right angle connector cutting out. They may have resolved this, however, and I guess it wasn't that common a problem. It's a very sturdily built cable.

As I understand it this is more an issue with the stock jack in most cases and a major contributor to me going hardwireI had issues with the Periapt right angle connector cutting out. Yeah that makes sense. I really wish that the balanced option had been available when I had my TX0 Argonized. I should just send them off to someone to have it done, it would safe fuss with the jack and be good for moar power from some sources.
I'm using the Vmoda cable on my TXO with issue on cutting out but the hp rarely leaves my home office. FYI the Vmoda cable is a 45 degree jack not a 90 degree and is quite flexible. When I finally get around to Argoning my TXO I may go hardwired depending on who can do it.

Anyone have an M-Stage HAP 2C? Bass is crazy with the Argons.
