Sorry if you've answered this already, but how long did you have to wait to get your headphones from Mimic/Mod House?

Not an electrical engineer but pushing 20V at 155 ohms (for the DS) means 2.6W which is quite a bit more than the Aune is capable of doing. The actual amount needed may vary depending on how loud you listen to music, whether you use negative pregains, how much dynamic range is in the music you listen to. To get the full 1.8W from Aune you probably need at least a 4V DAC, possibly more.
I'm running balance my SMSL SU8s into the S17, so it should get the 4v into it. I'm also hearing that the Mjolnir 3 can run tungstens really well and it only gets to 2w at 32 ohm and 1w 300ohm balanced, so it might be possible to run the tungstens from my S17, tho I'm not expecting 100% performance from them out of this amp being realistic. Maybe down the road I'll get a MJ3 once I save some money and get my desktop situation in order.

They are taking on more orders when the previous orders were not fully delivered?
I ordered mine on 10/30 after meeting Ryan in person. I’m still in the 12 week window. He’s making each unit himself and they are made to order. That’s his business model. Opening up orders with others in queue should be expected.

Ooooh.... How does the Tungsten do with the Soloist 3XP??
I really like it, specially when I feed it a good balance source in my case Esoteric dv-50. It's got really good power coming out of its balance outputs. If you look closer I was in high gain 57 volume level, plenty loud. So your Source is as important as your amp. Cheers.

Interesting. I have a VMV D1 SE and Denafrips Ares II as sources to (eventually) try, which put out 5.1v and 4v max, from their XLRs.

The VMV seems to match the power of the Esoteric DV-50. Here's hoping it works 🙏🏾

I'd also add, if you have a preamp or dad with volume control, see how your 3XP does with the Tungsten when you out the 3XP in "power amp mode". Remember to turn down the pre or DAC volume first. I prefer the 3XP in power amp mode with my other headphones

Gotta have all the info (credit card, address, etc.) ready to copy pasta. Worked for me back in November.
FYI for anyone attempting to get in on the next one, I suggest setting up your web browser to autofill everything, card, address, name.
Took me 15 seconds start to finish.
