Can a HTC Desire HD be connected with its micro usb output to an iBasso D2+ using a micro-usb-to-USB A connector?
 
In other words, does a HTC Desire has music output through its micro-usb-output or only through the line out mini jack?

Ok, I cannot figure out if the HTC Desire has digital music output through its usb-output or only analogue through the line-out mini jack.

Analogue headphone output only (not technically line-out as there is a power amp to drive headphones in the audio path). Android does not currently have the ASIO drivers required to connect to an external DAC/soundcard.

Thanks shadesbass! I was looking for that info. I'll just use the iBasso amp then.
