I'm now 6 months in with the Empyrean and still as happy as day one! For me Empyrean is one of the stayers. I've got 3 of those now and apparently, I like planar sound since all three of them are planars.

- SASH très
- Meze Empyrean
- DCA/Drop Ether CX

These 3 give me the performance I want and the comfort to wear them all day. All 3 have suspension straps, the Empyrean is the clear winner when it comes to comfort. Ether CX is (well ofc) better in the passive noise isolation department and the très is just special for price vs performance.

Thanks so much for the advice, very kind for you to look it up! Apos doesn't have a physical store there, and Audio Vision doesn't have Meze. I tried them too.

I could buy and if I don't like return, but didn't want to waste the time of a store. I mainly lsiten to Utopia 2020 and 2022, LCD-5 via Hugo 2....so I love details but thought I was missing the warmth, give Meze a chance...
